The procedure of withdrawing winnings from an online casino is a multi-step protocol that relies on the player's status, the chosen payment method, and the particular policies of the casino itself.

Here is how it works in practice as of 2026:

KYC (Know Your Customer) [[https://www.huwelijk.nl/magazine/101-bruiloft-feest/6110-verantwoord-online-casino-spelen-op-jullie-bruiloft|Nyxbets]]

This is the main obstacle for newcomers. No legitimate casino will process a payout until it has confirmed that you are a real person 18+.

What is required: A scan of your passport (sometimes a photo with ID in hand), address confirmation (such as a utility invoice or bank extract), and a picture of your bank card.
Purpose: This is a regulatory requirement (to combat money laundering) and a measure to prevent fraud. If you win a large sum, the casino must make sure that the funds are being transferred to the legitimate account holder, instead of a hacker.
When it takes place: You are typically asked to complete verification either immediately after registration or during your first withdrawal request. Until this process is finished, the "Cashout" button may stay disabled.

Cashier Operation

Once your account has been confirmed, the process proceeds as follows:

Entering the cashier: The player presses the "Withdrawal" button.
Choosing a system: Casinos usually require that funds be withdrawn via the same channel that was used for the deposit. This is called the "return-to-source" rule (part of AML protocols). For example, if you deposited 1,000 rubles via a "Mir card", the first 1,000 rubles of your winnings must be sent back to that same card. Any amount exceeding that can then be paid out to a different payment account.
Entering the sum: The specified amount must fall within the casino's set limits (for example, from 500 to 500,000 rubles per transaction).

Financial Processing

Once you click "Withdraw," your request is sent to the financial unit.

Manual check: Large withdrawal amounts (typically 50,000–100,000 rubles or more) are manually reviewed by a safety specialist. They audit your betting log to verify you haven't broken any rules (such as "bonus hunting" or utilizing prohibited software).
Source of Funds/Wagering Check: If you deposited 100 rubles, rolled it just once, and scored 100,000, the casino may decline the withdrawal, citing that the funds were not used for their intended purpose (e.g., "cleaning bonus"). Casinos typically require that you "wager" (wager) your deposit amount at least 1–3 times.
Approval: If everything is in order, the request is marked as "Accepted."

Summary: Casinos usually process payouts quickly (in under 60 minutes) provided the player has passed KYC and complied with deposit wagering requirements. If your information is missing from the database, the process may last several days because of security checks.
